1. UNDERSTAND that God loves you. God desires to
have a wonderful fellowship with you. John 3:16, Ephesians 2:4-5
2. ADMIT to Christ that you are a sinner.
All persons have disobeyed God and have chosen to go their own way. They have failed to be obedient to God. Isaiah 53:6, Romans
3:23, Romans 3:10
3. REALIZE
that sin has separated you from God, and that has resulted in broken fellowship with God. A holy God is willing to bring you,
an unholy sinner, back to Himself. Unless you come back to God, you face a Christless eternity in Hell. Isaiah 59:2, Romans
6:23
4. KNOW that you cannot save yourself. Your good efforts and morality can not erase this barrier of
sin between you and God. There is nothing that you can do to restore this broken relationship with God. You can't earn
God's salvation by your goodness. Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, Romans 4:4-8
5. BELIEVE that God sent His
son, Jesus Christ, as the only way to remove your sins. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross through His shed blood is the
means of our forgiveness. Jesus was holy and sinless and died for your sins, taking your punishment on Himself. God gave Jesus
Christ for you, and did for you what you could not do for yourself. I Peter 2:24-25, Romans 5:8, II Corinthians 5:20-21
6. RECEIVE Jesus Christ through faith right now. Placing your faith in Jesus means trusting Him for what He
has done for you rather than you trusting in your own works or goodness. You must completely rely on Christ to bring you into
a right relationship with God. You must allow Him to live His life through you. Receiving Christ requires genuine repentance
and sorrow for your sins. It means that you are willing to turn away from sin. John 14:6, Acts 16:31, Romans 10:9-11
7. PRAY, now, to the Lord Jesus Christ, and admit to Him that you are a sinner. Tell Him that you are sorry for your
sins and that you repent from your sins right now. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and invite Jesus into your life as
Savior and Lord. Thank Him for saving you, and tell Him that you are willing to live for Him.
By this prayer,
you are commiting to follow Jesus in baptism and membership into His church and that you will strive to be obedient to His
Word, The Bible, and that you will share with others this same love and forgiveness. I John 1:9, Acts 16:31, Romans 10:9-10,13
May God bless you in your new walk with His son, Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 3:10 - "As

Isaiah 59:2 - "But your iniquities have separated you

done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,"
Romans 4:4-8 - "Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation. However, to
the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness. David says the

they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against
him.'
I Peter 2:24-25 - "He himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins

John
14:6 - "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'
"
Acts 16:31 - "They replied, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household.'
"
Romans 10:9-11 - "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your
heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,
and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the scripture says, 'Anyone who trusts in Him will never
be put to shame.' "
I John 1:9 - "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive
us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His word
has no place in our lives."
Acts 16:31 - "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved"
Romans 10:9-10,13 - "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God
raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with
your mouth that you confess and are saved. For, 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' "
